Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Oracle Developer to join our team in Irving, TX . The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Oracle database development, PL/SQL programming, and performance tuning. This role is a contract-to-hire opportunity, offering the potential for long-term career growth in a dynamic and collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain Oracle database solutions to support business applications.
- Develop and optimize complex PL/SQL queries, stored procedures, triggers, and functions.
- Conduct performance tuning, query optimization, and database troubleshooting.
- Collaborate with application developers to ensure seamless integration between Oracle databases and enterprise applications.
- Implement and maintain ETL processes for data extraction, transformation, and loading.
- Develop database objects such as tables, views, indexes, and constraints.
- Ensure database security, integrity, and compliance with best practices.
- Provide production support and resolve database-related issues in a timely manner.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience as an Oracle Developer.
- Strong expertise in Oracle 12c/19c databases.
- Advanced PL/SQL development skills, including procedures, packages, and triggers.
- Experience with performance tuning and query optimization techniques.
- Familiarity with ETL processes and data migration.
- Experience with Oracle SQL Loader, Bulk Processing, and Materialized Views .
- Strong knowledge of database design, indexing, and partitioning .
- Exposure to Unix/Linux Shell scripting is a plus.
