Leidos is seeking a Senior Mobile Application Architect . We are a team of forward-looking professionals in need of a strong candidate with these key required skills : Strong knowledge of Mobile Application Development, Front-end Mobile and Back-end RESTful API development, JAVA and Node JS applications.

*** Selected candidate must be willing to work on-site in Baltimore, MD 5 days a week.

  • Work collaboratively to architect, design, build, deliver, and enhance highly available, scalable, real-time systems.
  • Attend all customer technical discussions/design/development meetings and provide technical input.
  • Determine and recommend the best designs based on customer business objectives, timelines and other resource constraints.
  • Participate in and/or direct major deliverables of projects through all aspects of the software development lifecycle including scope and work estimation, architecture and design, coding and unit testing.
  • Provide guidance/support to other junior/mid-level developers.
  • Impact functional strategy by developing new solutions, processes, standards, or operational plans that position Leidos competitively in the marketplace.
  • All other duties as assigned or directed.

FOUNDATION FOR SUCCESS ( Basic Qualifications )

  • Bachelor's Degree and 12+ years of experience or 16+ years in lieu of a degree.
  • Masters or Doctorate degree may substitute for required experience
  • 10+ years of experience with Mobile Application Development.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust.

FACTORS TO HELP YOU SHINE ( Required Skills )

These skills will help you succeed in this position:

  • Proficiency and knowledge of the following: Swift, Kotlin, Vue 3, React Native
  • Experience with Googles Flutter engine and Googles Dart language and similar Android/iOS framework.
  • Experience in both Front-end Mobile and Back-end RESTFUL API development.
  • Experience in development of JAVA, Node JS applications.
  • Must have strong application testing discipline.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with DevOps frameworks.

HOW TO STAND OUT FROM THE CROWD (Desired Skills)

Showcase your knowledge of modern development through the following experience or skills:

  • Knowledge of software design patterns.
  • Experience with an issue/problem tracking system (e.g., Jira)
  • Proficiency with common Agile practices, service-oriented environments, and better development practices

Pay Range: Pay Range $126,100.00 - $227,950.00

The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
