TITLE: Construction Project Manager - Commercial / Retail
Location: Onsite – Projects across California, Western U.S., Texas, Denver, and Kansas, occasional work from Fresno, CA headquarters
Start Date: ASAP
Employment Type: Full-Time W2
Salary: $120,000 - $170,000/year PLUS discretionary Bonuses & Profit Sharing

SUMMARY:

This team is seeking an an experienced Commercial Construction Project Manager to lead construction projects from start to finish, ensuring they are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You’ll collaborate with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to deliver outstanding results.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead all project operations, serving as the primary point of contact for clients, subcontractors, and stakeholders.
- Manage budgets, schedules, and deliverables to ensure project success and profitability.
- Ensure safety compliance, acting as the onsite Project Safety Officer and enforcing company policies.
- Coordinate subcontractors and vendors, reviewing submittals and ensuring adherence to specifications.
- Monitor and adjust project schedules, resolving any delays or challenges proactively.
- Oversee project documentation, including subcontracts, purchase orders, change orders, and closeout materials.
- Provide regular progress reports, including cost tracking, schedule updates, and labor projections.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 3-5+ years of project management experience, preferably in commercial construction
- Ability to interpret project plans, specifications, and schedules
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and adaptability skills
- Willingness to travel and remain onsite for the duration of projects
- IDEAL: Certified Project Manager (CPM) credential
- IDEAL: Experience with fast-paced commercial projects (e.g., retail, warehouse facilities)
