SUMMARY

We are seeking a professional who will serve as a Data Analyst in our growing Clinical Data & Analytics team, which is responsible for deploying and supporting data reporting and dashboarding in the domain. This role will have good exposure to our clinician leadership and Medical Executive Board. The ideal candidate will have experience in healthcare and a passion for creating meaningful data products. This role will also contribute to maturing our clinical analytics program and will have a positive impact on the companys mission to be the leader in integrated eyecare.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead clinical KPI development in partnership with various functional and operational leaders
  • Document and manage KPI definitions
  • Build automated clinical KPI dashboards and support data & metrics delivery to clinical leadership
  • Contribute to building clinical datasets, proactively
  • Monitor key datasets and provide appropriate recommendations for action and changes
  • Conduct data analysis in support of a variety of analytic solutions
  • Collaborate with the clinical leadership to determine and document data and reporting requirements
  • Capture, develop, and document data definitions, KPI rules, and data quality requirements
  • Integrate data from multiple sources to produce requested or required data elements as needed
  • Create and produce forecasts, reports, ad hoc requests, dashboards, etc.
  • Interpret data, analyze results, and provide insights to determine operational impact, trends, and opportunities
  • Ensure compliance with deliverable reporting requirements by performing data quality audits and analysis
  • Create specifications for reports based on business requests
  • Responsible for interpretation of results as needed
  • Adheres to all safety policies and procedures in performing job duties and responsibilities while supporting a culture of high quality and great customer service
  • Performs other duties that may be necessary or in the best interest of the organization

  • Interpersonal skills to support customer service, functional, and teammate support need
  • Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
  • Ability for intermediate problem solving, including mathematics
  • Advanced computer operation
  • Specialty knowledge of systems relating to job function
  • SQL knowledge with strong query writing skills
  • Python experience is a plus o AWS Cloud knowledge is a plus
  • Knowledge of state and federal regulations for this position; general understanding of HIPAA guidelines
  • Experience with basic medical coding and terminology, to include CPT Codes, ICD-10 codes, HCPCS, and NDC codes.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum Required: B.S. or B.A. in Computer Science, Information Systems or Analytics. Post graduate degree preferred.
  • Minimum Required: 1 year of related experience
  • Experience with large databases, conducting complex analysis

LICENSES AND CREDENTIALS

  • Minimum Required: None

SYSTEMS AND TECHNOLOGY

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook

  • This position is located in St Louis, Missouri and offers a hybrid work schedule. Candidates living in Alabama, Arizona, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, New Jersey, N. Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Texas and Virginia may also be considered for remote work.
