Job Description:

Supplemental Health Care has partnered with a school district to hire a 1:1 school nurse to work in Ashburn, Virginia. 1:1 School Classroom Nurse Contract Details:

$40 $43 per hourThis is a one-to-one nurse position to provide medical care to a student throughout the school day based on the students medical diagnosis and care planContract is for the current school yearThe nurse will be expected to follow medical care plans and medical orders IEP/504 plans and provide effective and pertinent information to the special education team and student caregiversNurse will be expected to complete daily documentationRN will be matched to student based on the nurses medical acuity experience1:1 school nurse position may include bus runs, field trips, care for students with certain health diagnoses/requirements such as but not limited to behavioral care, seizures, diabetes, allergies, asthma, trach care, vent care, and g-tubes

Requirements:

Virginia RN LicenseAmerican Heart Association BLSPrior school setting or pediatrics experience
