We are currently seeking a highly motivated ORAT Consultant I Logistics & Move/Mobilization Support located in Los Angeles, CA. * This position is for a limited duration of 12 months.

Position Overview

LAWA is recruiting a candidate to ll the Airport Operational Readiness (AOR) Logistics and Move/ Mobilization Support. The successful candidate will manage and oversee the logistics, move & mobilization, planning, developing, coordination, and scheduling of all operational readiness activities for a variety of LAWAs CIP projects and its stakeholders.

Required Education:

  • Bachelors degree in Architecture, Engineering, Planning, or related technical elds.

One or more of the following Registration/Certification:

  • American Productivity & Quality Center (APQC)
  • Business Process Management Initiative (BPMI)
  • Interaction Design Association (IxDA)
  • Human Factors and Ergonomics Society (HFES)
  • Organizational Development Certified Professional (ODCP)
  • Organizational Development Certified Consultant (ODCC)
  • Certified Management Consultant (CMC)
  • Association of Change Management Professionals (ACMP)
  • Certified Change Management Professional (CCMP)
  • Project Management Professional (PMP).

Required Qualifications:

In order to become a candidate, you must possess these skills and abilities

  • 5 years or more of experience in an airport operational setting is required.
  • Experience in change management and optimization of project management processes. Comprehensive knowledge of industry practices for airport systems.
  • Possess technical skills in project management, aviation operations, documentation,
  • communications, and/or operational or technology testing. Proven leadership and management capability is required.
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills.

Hardware/Software Knowledge

  • Word, Excel, Power Point, Prolog, Outlook, Oce 365, Bluebeam, Teams, and video training aides

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate the move and mobilization activities in collaboration with all team members, stakeholders and relevant agencies.
  • Manage space logistics and change initiatives, which include driving process improvements across LAWA projects and stakeholders.
  • Eectively collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure eective communication. Manage stakeholder communications and collaboration.
  • Participate in and support planning of the Airport Operational Readiness (AOR) Program. Review the design and specications of facilities and systems and assess trial requirements for all systems, equipment, processes, facilities, and stakeholders for select CIP projects.
  • Assist in the development of a comprehensive Trials Program to ensure the systems/equipment, facilities and stakeholders are assessed for operational readiness of new facilities.
  • Assist in developing Trial Scripts for orientation and familiarization training courses that cover generic facility spaces, functions and systems and individual stakeholder requirements.
  • Oversee/develop trial scripts and ensure alignment of these by applicable system or function.
  • Propose and follow-up on recruitment and training of the Trial sta.
  • Support the sourcing and contracting of Trial service providers and volunteers.
  • Assist in dening/aligning operational performance/acceptance levels of Trials with the applicable stakeholders.
  • Work closely with the AOR Subject Matter Experts on the execution of trials. Submits weekly Trial eorts and status reports to the AOR Manager.

Salary:

  • $95,000 - $99,000 Annually

Bonus Pay:

A bonus may be granted to employees depending on individual performance, employee utilization, attendance, tenure, and furtherance of other non-financial corporate goals; bonus opportunities are available at managements discretion.
