Business Development Representative

Location: Chicago, IL

Work-style: Hybrid (M, F - REMOTE) (T, W, TH - IN-OFFICE)

Compensation: $45,000-50,000 Base + Commissions (First Year OTE $75,000-80,000+)

Essential Functions & Responsibilities

  • Willing to make 30+ contact attempts per day.
  • You are comfortable with handling existing partners/new partners.
  • You are comfortable with cold calling old partners that are no longer active.
  • Willing to work directly with Underwriting to figure out the best financing for your clients.
  • Willing to handle warm leads and referrals.
  • You are comfortable handling inbound calls
  • You are an experienced professional with knowledge on customer service best practices.
  • You should also be able to interpret sales metrics and be goal-oriented.
  • You are comfortable with account managers and helping them develop specific sales strategies.
  • You are detail oriented and can multitask.
  • Willing to travel periodically (once a quarter).

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree is required
  • Software: Microsoft Office experience is required, Salesforce and Excel exp is a plus
  • Strong problem-solving skills and resourcefulness
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Financial Sales experience a plus
