What You Can ExpectAs our Maintenance Planner II, at The Ohio State University, you will be responsible for planning, scheduling and coordinating maintenance activities to prevent equipment breakdowns and minimize equipment/system downtime.Every day you will develop work plans and maintenance processes to improve staff productivity and work quality. You will also prepare purchase requests, maintain and track consumable and spare part inventories. You will report to the Maintenance Manager.What You'll BringYou have a minimum High School diploma or equivalentYou have a minimum 2 years of maintenance experience as a technician, supervisor or plannerYou will create and implement preventive maintenance plans to avoid equipment failures and downtimeYou will plan and schedule daily, weekly, and annual maintenance activities, ensuring they are completed safely, on time, and with minimal disruption to operationsYou will coordinate utility outages when necessaryYou must track and manage the inventory of spare parts and maintenance suppliesYou must work closely with maintenance technicians, engineering teams, and vendors to coordinate maintenance activities and needs for various types of work scopes including capital projectsYou will track KPIs and preparing/presenting reports on maintenance activities and their effectivenessYou must maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment conditions, and maintenance costs via the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to ensure all regulatory and industry standards are followedYou must conduct regular utility plant walk-throughs of all ENGIE sites on campus and interacting with employees and contractorsYou must generate and manage detailed work orders for maintenance tasks, ensuring safety is an integral part of the processYou will estimate time, resources and materials needed with close collaboration with supervisionYou will collaborate with all departments and necessary vendors/contractors on annual maintenance for major equipment such as boilers, chillers, turbines, and compressorsYou will coordinate with vendors and contractorsYou will support capital projects with regards to PMs, spare parts, inventory and setting up assets in the CMMSYou will complete other duties as assignedAdditional DetailsThis role requires attendance at a worksiteon a dailyMust be available to travel domestically up to 5% of the timeMust possess a valid U.S. driver's license; will drive company vehicleMust be willing and able to comply with all ENGIE ethics and safety policiesThis position consists of 5% of outdoor work, while performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to weather conditionsAbility to enter/work in confined spacesCompensationHourly: $36.00 to $55.17 USD hourlyThis represents the average expected pay range for a qualified candidate.Actual offered salary may depend on geography, experience, industry knowledge, education, internal pay alignment, or other bona fide factors.ENGIE complies with all federal, state, and local minimum wage laws.
