Construction Superintendent

We're on the lookout for a Construction Superintendent who can keep things on track for our commercial flooring projects and be the go-to person for everyone involved. The Construction Superintendent will be in charge of leading and managing the construction team on site to make sure everything gets done right. This role reports directly to the Project Manager.

1. Leadership and Management:
   • Lead and manage the construction team on site.
   • Coordinate and oversee all the work happening on site.
   • Attend production meetings.
2. Project Oversight:
   • Check the schedule and budget to make sure we're on track.
   • Make sure the work meets our quality standards.
   • Order materials and take care of equipment on site.
   • Stick to the project timeline to meet deadlines.
   • Receive deliveries and check everything is there and in good condition.
3. Safety and Compliance:
   • Keep an eye on safety, cleanliness, and orderliness on site.
   • Work with inspection authorities for approvals.
4. Documentation and Communication:
   • Keep records for site personnel (daily reports, field orders, RFIs).
   • Work closely with Project Managers, Estimators, subcontractors, and other team members.
   • Make sure everything follows government laws and regulations.
5. Confidentiality and Innovation:
   • Keep client and company info confidential.
   • Test and improve new ideas, and document for future use.
6. Budget and Documentation:
   • Keep an eye on project budgets and costs.
   • Manage on-site personnel, including subcontractors and vendors.
   • Keep project documentation accurate.
7. Communication and Closeouts:
   • Give regular updates to stakeholders.
   • Make sure project activities follow company policies.
   • Coordinate crews, meetings, and materials.

Spanish speaking and comprehension skills are a plus

Superintendent Requirements:

Need at least 5 years' experience as a construction superintendent, bonus points for flooring experience Good with MS Office, especially Word, Excel, and Teams, knowing Project HQ is a bonus. Can take and upload digital photos like a pro. Able to lift 40 pounds and handle heavy equipment. Can read and follow drawings, specs, and other documents. Great at communicating and working with others. Super organized.
