Summary : The Estimator plays a key role in preparing accurate cost estimates, analyzing project documentation, and coordinating with vendors and stakeholders. This role ensures seamless project execution by managing procurement, tracking project timelines, and maintaining comprehensive records while delivering quotes and reports within agreed SLAs.

To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to complete the following essential duties and responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for construction projects, including materials, freight, and other related expenses.
- Analyze project drawings, specifications, and other documentation to prepare comprehensive cost estimates.
- Collaborate with vendors, sales teams, and other project stakeholders to refine and adjust estimates as needed.
- Follow up on the quotations.
- Should be Open to new products and conduct research as and when required
- Assist in defining project scope, goals, and deliverables.
- Develop detailed project schedules and work plans.
- Coordinate project team meetings and maintain project documentation.
- Assist in the procurement process, including soliciting bids, negotiating contracts, and managing vendor relationships.
- Oversee to ensure project timelines are met.
- Maintain accurate project records, including contracts, change orders, and financial documents
- Prepare regular progress reports and updates for project stakeholders.
Additionally, the candidate must meet the following Education and/or Experience requirements:
- 4 year degree in construction management, architecture, engineering or related field.
- Minimum 4+ years of experience in project management and/or estimating within the construction industry.
- Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and cost-estimating techniques.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, Jira, SharePoint) and estimating software (e.g., AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Revu).
- Excellent leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
