Our Emerson EWP manufacturing facility in Emerson, Arkansas is seeking two (2) skilled Maintenance Planner/Schedulers that possess thorough and comprehensive knowledge of maintenance equipment and processes. The role serves as the main interface between the request for maintenance service and the execution and closure of that work. The primary function of this position is to improve equipment reliability and maintenance efficiencies through effective input, planning and execution of work orders. This full-time, hourly role is a non-bargaining unit position that reports to the Maintenance Manager.
The pay range for this role is $31-$36 per hour depending on experience.
Key Functions:
- Use of computer-based programs to support effective prioritization of maintenance requests, manage maintenance inventory, and delegate maintenance resources
- Active oversight, development of and participation in preventative maintenance activities to reduce unscheduled downtime
- Establishment and verification of effective communication across maintenance & production teams/shifts
- Provision of immediate feedback and recommendations on problems and opportunities
- Ownership for driving continuous improvement in area of responsibility
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Safety leader with passion for safety initiatives
- Minimum two (2) years of experience in either industrial maintenance or maintenance planning/scheduling activities
- Good working knowledge of industrial equipment and preventative maintenance processes
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office software
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Exposure to purchasing related activities
- Ability to lead people and promote teamwork
- Excellent organizational and planning skills
- Self-starter with ability to work with minimum supervision
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to establish positive relationships with contractors and company employees at all levels
- Willingness to work any schedule, including weekend and holiday support, as conditions require
The following qualifications are preferred:
- Vocational or technical school certificate in related area
- Experience with SAP or another CMMS
- Previous experience as an industrial millwright, electrician or multi-craft
