USSTRATCOM is a Combatant Command responsible for strategic deterrence, nuclear operations, and enterprise IT services essential to national security. It oversees Nuclear Command, Control, and Communications (NC3), Joint Electromagnetic Spectrum Operations (JEMSO), Global Strike, and Missile Threat Assessments, working closely with other Combatant Commands, Services, and defense agencies. SCITLS will be a key component that will ensure mission success and the safety of the U.S. and its allies by providing 24/7 IT services and network support for NIPRNet, SIPRNet, JWICS, and SAP/SAR environments.

HOW Configuration Management Administrator WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

  • Responsible for maintaining the CMDB, accurately denotaing asset inventory, troubleshooting issues with discovery, compiling and updating NetTerrain and cabling diagrams.
  • Establishes and enforces software configuration management (SCM) policies and processes for the Agile Release Trains (ARTs) including: code control, daily builds, and regression test.
  • Coordinates and controls change implementation; monitors and reports on the success of change implementation.
  • Establishes appropriate authorization controls for modifying configuration items and verifying compliance with software licensing.
  • Manages and maintains the configuration management system within the ITSM system, including a logical model of the IT service areas devices and relationships.

WHAT YOULL NEED TO SUCCEED:

  • Education: Technical Training, Certification(s) or Degree
  • Required Experience: 3+ years of experience
  • Security Clearance Level: Must be willing to Obtain Top Secret with SCI eligibility
  • Required Certifications: A+ or Network+
  • Preferred Certifications: ITIL 4 Foundations: ITIL 4 Specialist: Create, Deliver and Support, or Certified Configuration Manager (CCM) or Certified CMDB Professional (CCMDBP); or ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist - Configuration Management
  • Location: Offutt AFB, NE

The likely salary range for this position is $94,676 - $128,092. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
