USSTRATCOM is a Combatant Command responsible for strategic deterrence, nuclear operations, and enterprise IT services essential to national security. It oversees Nuclear Command, Control, and Communications (NC3), Joint Electromagnetic Spectrum Operations (JEMSO), Global Strike, and Missile Threat Assessments, working closely with other Combatant Commands, Services, and defense agencies. SCITLS will be a key component that will ensure mission success and the safety of the U.S. and its allies by providing 24/7 IT services and network support for NIPRNet, SIPRNet, JWICS, and SAP/SAR environments

HOW A SCITLS NetOps Manager WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

• Manages NetOps activities and personnel. Provides network management, operations (NetOps), and maintenance services for all USSTRATCOM networks including NIPR, SIPR, TS-C, JWICS, and other mission networks to ensure mission critical systems and operations are available.

• Monitors and reports network operational status and posture 24/7/365 IAW USSTRATCOM directives.

• Manages and maintains identified system components (hardware, software, and network) to meet critical and non-critical mission requirements IAW the Government directives.

WHAT YOULL NEED TO SUCCEED:

• Required Experience: 5+ years of related experience

• Required Certifications: GFACT or GISF or Cloud+ or GCED or PenTest+ or Security+ or GSEC

• Desired Certifications: ITIL 4 Foundation; CompTIA Network+; or Cisco Certified Network Associate; Cisco Certified Network Professional; Vmware Certified Professional Network Virtualization (VCP-NV); or SolarWinds Certified Professional; or Cisco Certified Specialist - Collaboration Core; or Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Administrator

• Security Clearance Level: TS/SCI

• Location: Offutt AFB, NE

The likely salary range for this position is $144,410 - $195,378. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
