Institute of Diagnostic Imaging is seeking a highly motivated, enthusiastic, compassionate individual who is a strong communicator to join an energetic, patient-focused team! Are you passionate about patient care? Do you love interacting with people? Come and join our team as a Registered Nurse for a PRN (as needed) position at our outpatient imaging center located in Fort Walton Beach, FL . We can offer 1-2 days/week. Hours will vary, Monday - Friday from 7:00am - 5:00pm.
JOB SUMMARY :
Under the direction of the Clinical Manager, or Clinical Director, the Registered Nurse:
- Is a highly-skilled clinician utilizing an interdisciplinary approach to patient care service delivery.
- Manages care at a highly-developed skill level in collaboration with patients, their families, physicians, & other members of the health care team.
- Ensures services are performed in a safe environment in accordance with established guidelines and regulatory requirements.
- Serves as part of the imaging center team and seeks as well as provides feedback for improved clinical practice.

RequirementsEDUCATION :
- Must be a graduate of an accredited RN program.
LICENSE/CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS :
Must meet the state licensure requirement for the state in which they practice. BLS certification required within 60 days of hire. ACLS certification may be required.
SKILLS/ABILITIES :
- Ability to work independently and multitask.
- Ability to provide documentation accurately and concisely.
- Ability to manage medical emergencies and contrast reactions under the direction of a licensed independent practitioner.
- Knowledge of computer applications, including information and billing systems, keyboard input, digital archiving, and retrieving of data.
