We are currently seeking a highly motivated Program Manager-Project Operations Oversight located in Baltimore, MD .
Overview:
CMTS LLC. is actively seeking a qualified individual to join our team who can demonstrate direct experience on various aspects of program management-project operations oversight either vertical or flat installations, from mobilization to startup, commissioning, and closeout. This individual will be the owners representative on individual projects, ensuring that each project follows the owners vision and goals for implementation of work including scheduling budgeting, and organizational continuity. Work opportunities will be for managerial oversight opportunities in the Baltimore-centric area of northern Maryland & Pennsylvania
Required Education:
Four (4) year degree in Architectural or Engineering from an accredited institution
OR
Two (2) years on-the-job training, with relevant studies in building codes and procedural steps
OR
Verifiable work history in similar oversight roles, that meet the aforementioned requirements for individual understanding of construction protocols and procedures for safety, quality, labor relationships, and coordination of the work of other firms
Required Qualifications:
In order to become a candidate, you must possess the following skills and abilities:
Minimum of five (5) years of experience in vertical and/or flat work construction from contractor mobilization to closeout.
Understanding of construction protocols and procedures for safety, quality, labor relationships, and coordination of the work of other firms.
Demonstrated experience in monitoring contractor performance, ensuring quality material and workmanship are in accordance with plans and specifications.
E xperience in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
An attitude and commitment to being an active participant in an aggressive and rapidly growing firm that is client-centric is a must.
Responsibilities:
Oversee construction from conception to completion.
Maintain concurrent responsibilities for three (3) to four (4) projects at the same time.
Manage projects under $10M and for a twelve (12) month duration
Meet contractual conditions of performance including safety, quality, and coordination with owner operations.
Review the work progress on a daily basis via in-person (preferable), or virtual (if needed).
Prepare internal and external reports pertaining to job status.
Proactively plan with the owner and contractor(s) to mitigate risk and minimize potential project challenges.
As requested by the owner, negotiate terms of agreement for changes either anticipated or planned.
Be on-call when required
Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques.
Salary:
$65.00-75.00/hr.
Bonus Pay:
A bonus may be granted to employees depending on individual performance, employee utilization, attendance, tenure, and furtherance of other non-financial corporate goals; bonus opportunities are available at managements discretion.
