Outrider/Parade Marshall

Ensures the safety of the horse and driver andenforces company policy and PA State Harness Commission rules andregulations. Opens track and overseesall racing hours while on horseback. Assists in maintaining well-constructed and orderly post parade. Addresses and assists in controlling horsesthat have left the course or are unmanageable to the point of constituting adanger to other horses and drivers. Isin contact with judges regarding all on-track activity. Performs other duties as assigned. Promotes outstanding customer and horsemenrelations.

Minimumthree years (harness) practical experience. Valid PA Harness Commission licenseor ability to receive license. Ifrequired, valid PA Gaming license or ability to receive license pendingregulatory development. Excellenthorsemanship and communications skills required. Solid knowledge of on-track racing protocoland procedures.

Is able to work in smoke filledenvironment, and is able to sit and stand for prolonged periods of time.

Must be able to obtain a Harnesslicense through the state of Pennsylvania.
