No Supervisory Responsibilities

Job Summary:

The driver will be transporting and dumping loose materials, such as sand, gravel, crushed rock, and asphalt from job sites. Must possess excellent customer service skills, keep truck clean, and abide by all state, local, and federal laws. Responsibilities:

• Understand and comply with all Company safety policies and procedures
• Complete safety checks, including truck equipment and supplies per CDL pre-trip guidelines
• Inspect loads to ensure that cargo is secured and apron in the appropriate position
• Load and unload material at the appropriate site
• Clean truck, including cab and truck bed
• Maintain positive relationships with all employees, customers, and community
• Maintain logs of working hours
• Perform other duties as needed

Qualifications:

• Class A CDL with doubles endorsement
• Must have one year gravel train-doubles experience
• Willing to work overtime and Saturdays
• Clean MVR
• Must have experience with manual transmission
• Must have and maintain a DOT physical and pass pre-employment DOT drug screening
• Must be in the FMCSA drug and alcohol Clearinghouse with a status of “driver not prohibited”

Physical Requirements:

• Sitting, standing, and walking
• Must be able to lift/maneuver 50 or more lbs. unassisted
