The Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant ( COTA ) acts under the supervision of a Physical Therapist, applies a variety of therapeutic interventions for rehabilitation of physical, psycho-social, and developmental disorders.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree
• Two to three years college level courses in Associates Degree or Diploma in Occupational Therapy Assistant
• COTA License required
• Less than one year experience in Occupational Therapy or Occupational Therapist Assistant
• BLS certification required at time of hire
