Associate Veterinarian - Cornerstone Animal Hospital

Cornerstone Animal Hospital is seeking a compassionate and dedicated veterinarian to join our 1.5 doctor fast growing small animal practice. We are located in a prime location of North Richland Hills, TX in close proximity to other affluent neighboring cities like Keller, Southlake and Colleyville. Our stand-alone 4000 Plus Sq ft Hospital is conveniently situated near a variety of restaurants and shopping destinations. Our practice provides an excellent environment for professional growth and fulfillment either you are an experienced Veterinarian or a new graduate. We have a strong compliant client base and we handle a consistent caseload of well visits, sick and emergency cases, dentistry and surgical procedures. Our family-like team foster an encouraging and supportive atmosphere and will help assure you with a quality work-life balance. We have a strong commitment to exceptional structured mentorship to new graduates and less experienced candidates. Foreign Veterinary Graduates licensed to practice in US will also be considered.

Most of our staff have been an integral part of our hospital for 3-5+ years providing dedicated service to the well-being of our pet companions and their pet parents.
We have 4 exam rooms, 2 wet/dental tables, fully equipped surgery suit, electrocautery units, Oxygen cage, Digital X-Ray, Digital dental x-ray, High speed dental machine, Ultrasound, Laser Therapy unit and full In-house lab capabilities. We have busy boarding and grooming service too.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive veterinary care, including diagnosis and treatment of various small animal pet disease conditions.
• Perform routine physical examinations and vaccinations on pets, recommend appropriate disease preventive plans to clients.
• Perform routine surgeries and dental procedures on small animal patients.
• Maintain accurate medical records and communicate effectively with pet owners regarding care plans.
• Collaborate with our team members to enhance patient care and participate in the mentorship program for junior veterinarians.
• Stay updated on veterinary knowledge base and advancements in newer technologies

Qualifications

• Veterinary degree (DVM) and Texas licensing
• Strong veterinary clinical experience and knowledge of animal diseases, diagnostics and treatment options desired.
• Proficiency in routine surgical and dental procedure skills is a desirable.
