Job Summary:

Tadiso, Inc. is the oldest and largest Opioid Treatment Program (OTP) in the greater Pittsburgh area. We have undergone significant organizational restructuring to address any behavioral health or substance use disorder (SUD) concern in-house. We are looking for a psychiatrist who is eager to work with people who have both SUD as well as psychiatric diagnoses, especially people from marginalized populations. Our ideal candidate has either board certification or experience in Addiction Psychiatry or Addiction Medicine, but this is not strictly necessary if you are enthusiastic to work with this patient population.” 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  1. Provide psychotherapy to individuals and groups
  2. Prescibing and providing follow-up for medication for Opioid Use Disorder (MOUD), specifically methadone and buprenorphine ( or willing to learn)
  3. Conduct treatment planning and interventions
  4. Offer crisis intervention services
  5. Utilize telehealth services for patient care
  6. Specialize in areas such as anxiety, trauma, and substance abuse
  7. Conduct Staff Consultations and medicaiton management meetings as needed
  8. Comfortable signing collaborative agreements with APPs with specialized mental health training and providing appropriate supervision/mentorship.

PROFESSIONAL/EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

  1.  MD/DO degree needed from an accredited educational insititution
  2. Minimum two years' experience working as a practicing psychiatrist
  3. Psychiatry/Addiction  medicaine board certification or edxperience with patients with SUD preferred, nut not needed.
  4. Current state medicla license , valid and in good standing
  5. Adheres to client confidentiality and upholds the professional ethics of Tadiso Inc.
  6. Unrestricted medical lecense and current DEA registration
  7. Uphold professional ethics and confidentiality policiesof Tadiso Inc.
  8. Completes annual education requirements
  9. Reports to wokr on time and as scheduled, completes work witin designated time.
  10. Demonstrates athe ability to handle multiple tasks.

Language:

  1. Demonstrates the ability to establish and maintain effective working relatioship with client. staff, the pulic and other entites.
  2. Demonstrates the ability tro communicate effectibely bot orally and in writing.

Physical Demands:

  1. Work enivronment of mederation in temperature, and noise
  2. Sittin at desk for hours
  3. Close cision at a computer
  4. Ability to carry 10lbs
  5. Repetivitive motions for computer use
