Presbyterian is seeking a Accountant I to perform general accounting related activities to support the Finance Department. Responsibilities include tasks related to banking and cash process , month end closing , ASO Funding and external reporting.

Ideal Candidate:
Six (6) years of experience in accounting/bookkeeping or an Associates or Bachelors degree in Accounting/Finance or related field with no experience
Qualifications- Six years of experience in accounting/bookkeeping or an Associates or Bachelors degree in Accounting / Finance or related field with no experience.
Education Essential: High School Diploma or GED
Responsibilities- Understand and complete tasks associated with the banking and cash process including bank account reconciliations.
- Prepare account reconciliations as assigned.
- Prepare routine wire transfers and bookkeeping entries for monthly general ledgers.
- Prepare standard reports routinely distributed externally (vendor payments, audit work papers, etc).
- Performs other functions as required including performing and receiving cross training
