Fabrication Engineer

Job Overview:A leading steel fabrication company is seeking a skilled Fabrication Engineer to join its team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in steel fabrication and programming , with a strong focus on Mastercam, AutoCAD, and SolidWorks . This role is essential in optimizing production efficiency, ensuring quality control, and driving process improvements in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to develop fabrication plans and shop sketches.
- Perform forming and stock calculations to optimize material use and minimize waste.
- Program the Kinetic Cutting Table and Nesting Software for precise production needs.
- Conduct in-process and final quality control inspections to maintain high product standards.
- Assist in the maintenance and improvement of the Quality Control Program .
- Proficiency in Mastercam (primary requirement), with experience in AutoCAD and SolidWorks .
- Strong background in steel fabrication with hands-on experience in a manufacturing setting.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, fabrication plans, and technical drawings .
- Experience conducting quality control inspections and ensuring adherence to industry standards.
- Knowledge of AISC Certification requirements is a plus.
