Veterinary Groomer

Frontier Veterinary Clinic is a full service veterinary hospital that provides thorough, compassionate, modern, and affordable care for your animals. Formerly known as Mobile Veterinary Clinic, we have been serving Abilene's pets and their families since 1976. Join a supportive team in a high-end, modern environment. Pet Groomers will perform top quality grooms in a timely manner. Groomers should have current grooming experience and be able to consistently provide pups and parents with a high level of gentle and professional care. Job duties may include but not limited to:

• Clean the dog's teeth
• Maintain an upbeat attitude
• Calm an anxious dog
• Ensure company policies are being followed
• Communicate effectively with clients to find out what they need
• Shampoo and wash a dog's hair or fur
• Create a welcoming environment for dogs and their owners
• Cut or shave a dog's hair or fur

• High School diploma or GED equivalent
• Proficient at Grooming 
• Ability to lift dogs that weigh up to 50 pounds
• Ability to work in a professional manner
• Calming presence to pets
• Ability to stand on your feet for long periods of time
• Great communication skills
• Ability to work on a team
