Perishable Food Manager

This role oversees the Deli, Cheese, Bakery, Prepared Foods, and Customer Service areas during closing shifts, ensuring smooth operations, excellent service, and a clean, well-stocked department for the next day.

What You’ll Do:

Supervise and support team members in perishable food and customer service departments
Ensure excellent customer service and resolve any issues efficiently
Oversee food preparation, merchandising, and product quality standards
Monitor inventory, reduce shrink, and ensure proper product rotation
Follow and enforce food safety, sanitation, and store policies
Manage closing duties, including cleaning, securing equipment, and preparing for the next day
Train, motivate, and provide feedback to employees to drive performance

What We’re Looking For:

Previous experience in retail, food service, or grocery leadership (preferred)
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
Ability to lead a team with a positive and hands-on approach
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
