Role Description:

Fellowship Christian School, located in Germantown, MD, is seeking dedicated, professional Christian teachers who are passionate and understand the importance of Christian education. Current available positions are a 2nd grade teacher and a 4th grade teacher. Candidates must have a servant's heart and a commitment to integrating biblical principles into their teaching.

Faithful attendance at a local church that aligns with the Fellowship Christian School and New Covenant Fellowship Church doctrinal statement is required. The statement can be found at the New Covenant Fellowship Church's website.

Job Expectations:

• Create weekly lesson plans using the Abeka curriculum
• Create weekly Friday newsletter informing parents of any important dates, upcoming assessments, etc.
• Communicate effectively with parents and students
• Manage classroom effectively to create a positive learning environment
• Conducting Parent Conferences
• Present a message during chapel on rotation with other staff

Starting Salary Range: $38,000.00 - $43,000.00/ per10 month (summer work is optional)
