NOTICE OF EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY

2025-2026 SCHOOL YEAR

MIDDLE SCHOOL (6-8) VICE PRINCIPAL

Anticipated Start Date: July 1, 2025

Full Time/12-Month/Tenure Track Position

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Work closely with the Principal to provide leadership and management
  • Assist the Principal in the overall administration of the school
  • Establish positive and effective relationships with students, staff, parents, and the community to support student success
  • Supervise and evaluate instructional programs
  • Manage student discipline and attendance
  • Oversee school operations, including scheduling, facilities, and transportation
  • Foster a positive and inclusive school culture
  • Ensure compliance with district policies and state regulations
  • Serve as the District Anti-bullying Coordinator

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Valid New Jersey Principal Certification required
  • Middle School or Upper Elementary education experience
  • Experience in school administration, student management, staff supervision, and evaluation preferred
  • Experience or knowledge of Innovative Practices preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong knowledge of program development, curriculum, and application of technology
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills
  • Well-versed in social-emotional learning and data-driven instruction
  • Criminal history background check required and NJ residence required within one (1) year from date of hire required
