Clinical Psychologist

A Clinical Psychologist in an Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) company plays a pivotal role in assessing, diagnosing, and treating individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and related developmental conditions. They collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans to enhance clients' social, communication, and adaptive skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assessment and Diagnosis: Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations to identify behavioral, emotional, and cognitive issues in clients.
• Treatment Planning: Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment results, focusing on improving social, communication, and adaptive behaviors.
• Therapy Sessions: Provide one-on-one therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based techniques to address identified issues and promote skill development.
• Collaboration: Work closely with other professionals, such as behavior analysts, speech therapists, and occupational therapists, to ensure a holistic approach to client care.
• Family Support: Educate and support families in understanding and managing their child's condition, offering guidance on implementing therapeutic strategies at home.
• Progress Monitoring: Regularly assess client progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to meet evolving needs.

Qualifications:

• Doctoral degree in psychology from an accredited institution.
• Active state licensure as a psychologist in (North Carolina)
• Experience working with individuals with ASD and related developmental disorders.
• Strong understanding of ABA principles and therapeutic techniques.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
