AUTOMOTIVE REPAIR TECHNICIAN

We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our busy automotive shop. You will be working alongside a team of friendly professionals who are committed to providing top-notch service to our valued customers. Our shop is centrally located in the valley and has been established for over twenty years with a have a loyal customer base that continues to grow.  

We are currently looking to hire a dependable and skilled Automotive Repair Technician with expertise in diagnosing a range of issues, from electrical to performance-related, as well as general maintenance, mileage-based service, and overall repairs.

As a member of our team at Mitch’s Autoworks, you will be responsible for working on various components of vehicles, including engines, transmissions, exhaust systems, air-conditioning, suspension, brakes, engine tune-ups, oil changes, and more. It is essential that you hold the necessary licenses and possess the experience required to deliver exceptional service to our customers while upholding a clean and organized work environment.

Responsibilities:

• Proficient in working on a wide range of vehicle makes and models

• Maintain a professional demeanor and appearance at all times

• Possess a valid driver’s license

• Ability to effectively utilize all automotive repair tools

• Must have own set of tools for work

• Knowledgeable in the use of diagnostic tools and equipment

• Ensure the repair shop is kept clean and organized

Experience & Qualifications:

• Strong customer service and communication skills

• Excellent problem-solving abilities, particularly in electrical diagnostics

• Proficient in the operation of all auto repair tools

• Ownership of personal tools for work purposes

• Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment

• Hold a valid driver’s license

• ASE certification is preferred

• High school diploma or GED with a minimum of 7 years of experience as an automotive repair technician/mechanic

OR

• Associate's degree or certification in an automotive technology program with at least 5 years of experience as an automotive repair technician/mechanic
