Job title: Human Resources Coordinator – Midwest Division
The Human Resources Coordinator will be responsible for various administrative tasks including recruitment, onboarding, employee records maintenance, and HR project support. The Midwest division is a recent expansion for B&S Site Development and the Human Resources Coordinator will play a critical role in the adoption of existing HR processes, creation of new processes, and support for a growing employee base. The ideal candidate should have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the recruitment processes including job postings, scheduling interviews, and corresponding with candidates.
- Execute the onboarding process for new hires, including preparing paperwork and ensuring all necessary documentation is completed and all necessary internal systems are updated.
- Maintain employee records and HR databases (e.g., personal information, leaves, attendance).
- Process employee changes (promotions, transfers, terminations) and update HR information systems accordingly.
- Act as a support and guide for disciplinary actions when required.
- Assist in organizing company events, meetings, and employee recognition programs.
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits, and other HR-related matters.
- Lead HR initiatives such as performance management reviews, employee surveys, and training initiatives.
- Prepare HR-related reports as needed (e.g., turnover rates, attendance records).
- Ensure compliance with labor regulations and company policies.
- Perform other administrative tasks assigned by the HR Director.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a HR role
- Knowledge of HR functions and best practices.
- Familiarity with HR software (e.g., HRIS, ATS) and MS Office (especially Excel and Word).
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field is a plus.
