Job Overview:

• Team Leader position as residential elevator installer
• Training and Certification provided for elevator installation
• Full Time Monday-Friday 7am-4:30pm with a 30-minute lunch break
• Company Vehicle provided after 30 days
• Health Benefits provided after 30 days
• Regular Travel with per diem - must be willing to travel and stay out of town regularly
• Interior Residential work only - no rainy days!
• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. - no exceptions
• Must have Valid Driver's License with Clean Driving Record - no exceptions

• Paid Time Off/ Vacation Time after 1 Year
• $150/day per diem for nightly accommodations when staying out of town
• Starting pay based on experience, up to $30/hour

Stiltz of Charlotte is the local authorized dealer and installer of Stiltz HomeLifts. We install Stiltz brand home elevators in existing homes and new builds. Our shop is located in Concord, NC. We cover a large territory including the NC Triangle, Charlotte, Greensboro, and upstate SC. Jobsite training and certification to install the residential elevators will be provided to you, but you must have sufficient carpentry/remodeling experience to be considered for this position. We take pride in our work and expect you to do the same with integrity.

This position will require travel within approximately 4-hour radius of Charlotte, NC. If you are not 100% committed to travel regularly and stay out of town 3-4 nights per week, this position is not for you. Our installers stay out of town overnight if the job is more than 1.5 hours away. We pay $150/day per diem to cover your nightly accommodations when staying out of town overnight. The choice of hotel is up to you. 

The ideal candidate has the following qualities:

• A willingness to learn how to install residential elevators
• The ability to lead their own install team after sufficient training has been completed
• Excellent people skills to interact with customers, co-workers, and inspectors in a professional manner
• 5 years+ Carpentry/Home Remodeling/Residential Construction experience including framing, trim, mud, sheetrock, flooring, doors, cutting baseboard and crown molding, light electrical experience is preferred
• The ability to follow construction plans and installation instructions
• Independent work ethic with the ability to efficiently manage time and resources
• Attention to detail and takes pride in their work with high integrity
• Great communication skills, must speak English fluently
• Willingness to travel on a regular basis and be responsible for a company vehicle and tools
• Clean Driving Record, Valid Driver's License
