Our client, a leader in the consumer products industry, is seeking a Laboratory Technician to join their team. As a Laboratory Technician, you will be part of the Home Improvement Consumer Products lab team supporting quality assurance and product safety. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Laboratory Technician

Location: Maplewood, MN (100% onsite)

Pay Range: $18 to $20 per hour
Duration: 12 month contract

What's the Job?

  • Prepare materials and organize for product testing.
  • Assist in laboratory experiments through testing and evaluation of new materials and products based on research.
  • Perform mechanical performance tests required for research, development, or quality control of processes and products.
  • Conduct visual observations on product samples from competitors and communicate test results to the appropriate requester.
  • Conduct hands-on tests with multiple pieces of equipment and manage product testing weights (2lbs-20lbs).

  • Proficient in using laboratory equipment and conducting tests.
