PESTO ITALIAN CRAFT KITCHEN is seeking a talented and experienced Pizza Chef to join our great team in San Diego, CA. If you have a passion for creating delicious Pizza and other Italian cuisine using the freshest ingredients, then we want to hear from you!

As a Pizza Chef at PESTO ITALIAN CRAFT KITCHEN, you will be primarily responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of pizzas in different styles, such as Neapolitan, Sicilian, and New York-style, using traditional techniques and modern equipment.  However, you may also be assisting in menu planning, ensuring food quality, and maintaining portion control. You can showcase your skills, grilling techniques, and fryer expertise to create other mouth-watering dishes for our customers. Additionally, you will handle food preparation, baking, and catering orders while upholding the highest standards of sanitation and food safety.

• Menu planning and development
• Portion control and food quality
• Catering orders and food handling
• Sanitation and food safety

Job Requirements:

• Food and Beverage Management experience
• Strong cooking skills
• Merchandising and stocking knowledge
• Ability to work closing shifts
• Strong math skills for ordering and inventory
• Personality and communication skills
