Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate, skilled, and team-oriented veterinarian to join our growing family at Spring Glen Veterinary Clinic. The ideal candidate will provide excellent medical care while cultivating personal, trusting relationships with both pets and their owners. We are looking for someone who values high-quality veterinary care and understands the importance of a fun, supportive, and welcoming atmosphere for both the animals and the people they love.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive veterinary care including routine check-ups, diagnostics, surgery, and emergency care.
  • Build and nurture trusting relationships with pet owners by offering clear communication, education, and empathetic care.
  • Work closely with our team of veterinary technicians and support staff to ensure a seamless and positive experience for patients and clients.
  • Participate in continuing education to stay up-to-date on the latest veterinary advancements.
  • Contribute to the development of clinic policies and practices aimed at providing the highest level of care.
  • Cultivate a positive, supportive atmosphere that aligns with our core values of trust, compassion, and fun!

Qualifications:

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree or equivalent
  • Active and valid veterinary license in the state of Connecticut
  • Strong communication skills with both clients and staff
  • Compassionate, patient, and empathetic approach to care
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
  • Interest in continuing education and staying current with veterinary trends
  • A love for animals and a desire to build long-term relationships with clients and their pets
