Copper Maintenance Technician

We are looking for experienced 1099 DSL Copper Technicians to perform drop work, installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of POTS (Plain Old Telephone), high-speed internet, ONT installations. This could include wiring, video equipment and voice networks. Maintaining and repairing outside copper plants within assigned geographic service areas is also included.

Please note this is a 1099 contract with per diem if you live over 50 miles from the specific locations 

Several locations in Southern California 

Job Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Valid Driver's License and clean driving record
• Technician must have their own truck, van, or SUV with ladder rack
• Technician must have their own tools to perform the job as well as an Android smart phone & laptop
• Must be available to work flexible hours (weekend work may be required)

Physical Requirements:

• Physical ability to work various in conditions, including working in attics, crawl spaces, and in adverse weather conditions.
• Physical ability to work from a kneeling or standing position for long periods
• Physical ability to climb ladders with proper equipment (safety belt, safety strap, hard hat, and other equipment as needed).
• Able to lift and carry loads up to 75lbs including ladder
