SUNNY SMILES DENTISTRY FOR CHILDREN AND YOUNG ADULTS IS seeking a dedicated and COMPASSIONATE Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) or Dental Assistant to join our dynamic and FUN dental team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and providing EXCEPTIONAL dental care in a friendly and SUPPORTIVE environment. As a Registered Dental Assistant or Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the comfort and well-being of our young patients while assisting the dentist in various procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow.
• Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment according to infection control protocols.
• Manage medical documentation and maintain accurate medical records for each patient.
• Take X-rays as directed by the dentist, ensuring proper technique and safety measures.
• Dental prophy's (if licensed)
• Educate patients and their families on proper oral hygiene techniques and post-treatment care.

Requirements

• Registered Dental Assisting LICENSE or Dental Assisting Certification
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while demonstrating excellent communication skills.
• A COMPASSIONATE demeanor when interacting with children and their families.
