Auto Claims Adjuster

QUALIFICATIONS:   Auto Claims Adjuster with 2 years experience ( in-person, in Las Vegas)

As an Auto Claims Adjuster, you’ll have a vital role in keeping our claims process after an accident efficient and accurate. Focusing on claims involving property damage, soft tissue injury/early-stage injury resolution and subrogation, you’ll investigate and analyze the claim and damage to determine the best course of action.

Duties & Responsibilities

Investigate Taxi Management’s liability concerning loss or damages to cabs, claimant’s vehicle, property damage and bodily injuries.

Determine the existence of coverage and ensure damage or injury is consistent with accident reports.

Gather information on the status and treatment needs of actual or potentially injured person(s), most commonly for soft tissue injuries and mild-to-moderate sprain/strain by interviewing and/or consulting with our employee/drivers, claimants, witnesses, police reports, doctor’s records, etc.

Estimate the cost of repair or replacement of damaged property; judge whether a vehicle should be declared a total loss; in the case of injured persons, evaluate the cost of treatment or compensation.

Issue payments and review requests for supplemental repair orders.

Must-have qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or five years of work experience
• One year in the automotive repair/appraisal or insurance industry
• Work or educational experience must include:
  •  Decision making and problem solving
  • Planning, prioritizing, and organizing
  • Effective communication verbally and written
  • Customer service

Valid driver's license and auto insurance along with compliance with Taxi Management’s driving standards and/or policies.

Work Schedule:Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm
