We are on the lookout for a talented Avionics Systems Engineer to join our dynamic team in Fort Worth, TX. In this role, you'll collaborate with a team of passionate engineers, working on cutting-edge avionics systems that are integrated into aircraft programs. Your expertise will help us navigate through the technical landscape, ensuring that our solutions soar above the rest.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Integrate and test avionic systems within various aircraft programs.
  • Analyze complex requirements and translate them into subsystem architectures and detailed designs.
  • Act as a liaison for integration and support within customer architectures.
  • Coordinate and execute subsystem integration, testing (both lab and flight), and certification of avionics systems.
  • Provide engineering support throughout the certification process, from Technical Standard Order (TSO) to Type Certification (TC) or Supplemental Type Certification (STC).
  • Manage requirements and ensure robust verification and validation processes.
  • Identify and resolve integration issues during testing phases.
  • Communicate effectively with suppliers for requirement definition, design analysis, and certification activities.
  • Continuously improve processes to enhance product integration and time to market.
  • Travel occasionally to meet project needs.

What We're Looking For:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in systems integration and FAA certification processes.
  • Strong technical background in hardware and software integration.
  • Knowledge of FAA certification activities from TSO through TC/STC.
  • Familiarity with aircraft safety methods and standards.
  • Excellent communication and customer relation skills.
  • Organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
  • A team player with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
