Private Chef

Job Description:

Family in Paradise Valley, AZ seeks an experienced, creative full-time Private Chef to prepare daily meals for the family.  Must be available for summer travels to their residence in Aspen, for extended visits.  Summer accomodations provided for the Chef and their significant other (including a dog).  Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Creating healthy and fresh meals for the family of 2, and staff lunch (including chef)
• Preparing and serving lunch and dinner on the weekdays.  Prepare and leave weekend meals for the family
• Cooking for up to 5-20 people (family style) if the family is hosting any small meetings, parties and events
• Sanitation and organization of the kitchen (refrigerator, drawers, etc.) bar and clean pantry
• Full responsibility of cleaning all kitchen and dining areas, setting up table, serving, and cleaning up after meals
• Grocery and household shopping
• Work closely with catering company to come up with menu for events held at the house and anything food related
• Must be able to work with a team including property manager, personal assistant, housekeeper, and maintenance crew
• Assist in running errands

Schedule:  The schedule depends on family needs, M-F with very occasional work one day of the weekend or full weekend  Prepare and serve meals for Thanksgiving and Christmas Dinner

Compensation:  Negotiable based on experience

Requirements:

• Happy, energetic, creative, and versatile
• Discretion and professionalism
• Knowledge of dietary restrictions and nutrition
• Highly organized and detailed oriented
• Minimum 2-3 years of related eperience working as a Private Chef, or equivalent
• Must be able to communicate in English, both written and oral
• Valid Drivers License and a valid US work authorization
