We are seeking an Environmental, Healtlh and Safety Director to lead our safety initiatives and ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations. Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and manage safety policies and procedures in compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other regulations.
• Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and risk assessments.
• Lead accident investigations and implement corrective measures.
• Manage the workers’ compensation program.
• Train employees and subcontractors on safety protocols and best practices.
• Maintain safety records and serve as the primary point of contact for regulatory agencies.
• Oversee and ensure compliance with government contracting safety requirements.
• Develop site-specific safety plans and implement mitigation strategies.

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience: 5-7 years in construction safety management, preferably in commercial drywall and/or government contracting.
• Education & Certifications: Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Construction Management, or related field (preferred) OR equivalent experience. CSP, CHST, or OSHA 30/500 certification required.
• Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
• Travel: Frequent travel to job sites (up to 50%), including outside the D/M/V area.
• Additional Requirements: Must pass background check and drug test; valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required; fluency in Spanish.

Work Environment & Physical Demands:

• Office and construction site environments.
• Exposure to construction hazards; PPE required on-site.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and navigate uneven terrain.
