Pharmacy Technician

Responsibilities:

• Providing friendly and professional service
• Process prescriptions using computer software
• Accurately labeling and dispensing medications
• Handle calls and texts from patients
• Assist in Prescription Checkouts and handling cash register
• Compound non-sterile medications
• Clean compounding lab and equipment
• Monitor storage and inventory of medications and supplies
• Separate and prepare prescriptions for delivery
• Assisting pharmacists with administrative tasks as needed
• Full transparency - you'll probably have to help vacuum and take out trash

What You Bring:

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent
• A valid Texas Pharmacy Technician License
• Previous experience in pharmacy
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• A passion for solving problems for others

Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour based on skills and experience
