Job Description


Responsibilities:

  • Provide multimedia environmental compliance support (NPDES, SPCC, RCRA). Ensure that all control, monitoring, record keeping, and reporting requirements are met.
  • Oversee contractors and maintain good working relationships within the facility (operations, maintenance, etc.) and with outside organizations (regulatory agencies, professional organizations, etc.). 
  • Prepare, submit, and maintain proper recordkeeping for required compliance reports.
  • Work with other facility departments on obtaining compliance information when required.
  • Manage and track budgets and expenditures.
  • Part of the facility’s rotational on-call team.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) in Engineering or Science is required; a B.S. in Chemical Engineering is preferred. 
  • Five years of relevant environmental, chemical, petrochemical or refining industry experience is preferred.
  • US DOT HAZMAT Shipping and RCRA experience/training is preferred.
