Position Overview:

As the Director of Behavioral Health, you will play a critical role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of our psychiatric unit. This position offers a generous market-competitive salary, a $5,000 sign-on bonus, and the chance to make a meaningful impact in the lives of senior adults in our community.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Oversee all day-to-day operations of the psychiatric unit to ensure high-quality patient care.
• Provide supervision and leadership to clinical staff, fostering a collaborative work environment.
• Lead program development with clearly defined short-term and long-term goals.
• Ensure compliance with hospital, state, federal, and licensing agency regulatory standards.
• Establish and maintain relationships with community leaders and service providers to promote and foster a positive reputation for the program.

Requirements:

• Valid Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Texas.
• Experience working with senior adults in an outpatient setting.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
