CNC Machinist – Milling 3 axis and 5 axis vertical, Mazak and Haas

KAF Manufacturing Company established in 1970 is a progressive privately owned manufacturing company with an expertise in Ultra Precision machining of component parts used in the scientific community. Our products are used in the fields of pharmaceutical, optics, homeland security, aerospace, defense, and microwave communication.

We have developed a specialty in Diamond Turning, EDM, CNC 5 Axis Milling, CNC Turning and Ultra-Modern Metrology.

We are looking for a talented CNC Machinist  to do setups and operate CNC Milling Machines, 3 axis and 5 axis machines. The applicant will be working with Mazak’s 3 axis a Mazak 5 axis milling. Haas 3 and 5 axis milling machines.  We have the very latest metrology equipment here at KAF.  The applicant will setup up, operate and perform inspections . The machinist responsibilities include identifying areas for improvement, exploring new manufacturing methods and conformance with customer requirements.

You should be able to work effectively within a team for maximum efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and quality.

CNC Machinist

• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing or industrial engineering degree a plus.
• Experience evaluating and troubleshooting manufacturing processes and machinery.
• Experience using CAD, CAM, and related software, SolidWorks or AutoCAD a plus but not a requirement.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• High level of technical expertise.
• Strong analytical thinker.

Salary is competitive and commensurate with work skills and experience.

$29.00/ $38.00/ hr.    +++++  depending on experience.
