A medical center is seeking a Radiation Oncologist for locum tenens coverage.
The facility is located in Seattle, Washington.
The schedule is flexible, offering either four 10-hour days or five 8-hour days. Physicians will treat 1020 patients per day, and hospital privileges are required with an estimated 60-day credentialing process. Candidates must have experience with EPIC, and the facility uses ARIA and Eclipse for treatment planning. Treatments include IMRT, VMAT, IGRT, SBRT, and SRS, and the site is equipped with a CT simulator, HDR afterloader, and two TrueBeam linear accelerators with advanced imaging and a 6 DOF couch. Board certification is required (or truly board-eligible), and candidates must hold an active state license or qualify through IMLC. The position includes light pager call, typically involving infrequent inquiries from urgent care, emergency departments, or hospitalists, with clarification pending on whether this includes nights and weekends.
