Seeking a dedicated, experienced, and proactive General Counsel to provide comprehensive legal guidance and manage all legal functions for a valued client in the Bel Air area.
Position Overview:
This is a hands-on, multifaceted role that requires expertise in contract review, employment and labor law, litigation management, and risk management. You will work closely with executive leadership and operational teams to mitigate risks and ensure legal compliance in all business areas.
Key Responsibilities:
Contract Review & Negotiation:
Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of contracts and agreements, ensuring that the company’s interests are protected.
Provide legal guidance on contractual obligations and risk mitigation strategies.
Employment & Labor Law:
Advise on employment policies, labor disputes, and compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws.
Collaborate with HR to develop and implement best practices for employee relations and workplace safety.
Litigation & Dispute Resolution:
Manage all aspects of litigation, including strategy development, overseeing outside counsel, and resolving disputes efficiently.
Provide legal counsel during investigations and potential lawsuits to safeguard company interests.
Risk Management:
Identify potential legal risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
Collaborate with senior management to create policies and procedures that enhance the company’s risk management framework.
