Winston Staffing is a JC certified medical staffing firm located in New York, NY.  We have multiple needs for experienced Diganostic Imaging professionals throughout the NY Metro area and the country, but today we are featuring a great opportunity in Suffolk County, Long Island.  This opportunity is in a hospital setting on the south shore of LI - a very desirable location in spring and summer!  If you love the beach and proximity to the Hamptons this is an ideal spot for you. Curently this job offers the highest payrate of all our open positions.  This facility will take local candidates and/or travelers - pay package for this role is over $3000 per week. 

The CT Tech will be responsible for performing high-quality computed tomography (CT) scans to assist physicians in diagnosing medical conditions.  Key responsibilities include:

• Preparing and positioning patients for imaging procedures, ensuring comfort and safety.
• Administering contract media as needed and following safety protocols and assessing patient reactions.
• Operating and maintain Cat Scan/CT Scanning equipment, troubleshooting minor issues when necessary.
• Ensuring accurate patient identification and documentation within the electronic medical record (EMR) system.

Qualifications:

Minimum 1 year experience, hospital experience preferred.

ARRT certification in Radiography an CT Technician/Cat Scan.

Licensure as required by the state in which the assignment is located.
