Job Title: Commercial Cleaning Supervisor

The responsibilities of the Supervisor include training, overseeing, and motivating team members. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring all staff stays on task and completes all assignments to Company standards. To excel in this role, a good understanding of cleaning principles and team management abilities are essential.

• Train housekeepers on cleaning and maintenance tasks

• Assign tasks to workers, and inspect completed work for conformance to standards

• Oversee staff on a daily basis

• Oversee floor and carpet care employees

• Issue supplies and equipment

• Resolve workers' problems or refer matters to Manager

• Ensure compliance with safety and sanitation policies in all areas

• Assist in interviewing, hiring, and training employees

• Check rooms and common areas, including stairways and lounge areas, for cleanliness

• Schedule shifts and arrange for replacements in cases of absence

• Establish and educate staff on cleanliness, tidiness, and hygiene standards

• Respond to customer complaints and special requests

• Monitor and replenish cleaning products stock including floor cleaner, bleach, and rubber gloves

• Participate in large cleaning projects as required

Requirements and Skills:

• Have at least 3 years of Commercial Office Cleaning experience.
• Hands-on experience with cleaning and maintenance tasks for large organizations
• Ability to use industrial cleaning equipment and products
• Excellent organizational and team management skills
• Stamina to handle the physical demands of the job
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends
• Reliable transportation to ensure consistent dependability required.
• Must be able to meet physical requirements of the position.
• Must successfully pass a background check.

This position is located in a 3-building office property. The candidate MUST pass a background check, as they will be in tenant spaces and will have access to keys.
