Chat Noir in Rockville Centre, NY is seeking an experienced Executive Chef to join our team. As a French bistro & bakery serving breakfast, lunch & afternoon tea daily plus dinner Thursday-Sunday, we are looking for a creative and passionate individual to lead our culinary team.

Job Responsibilities:

• Menu planning and development
• Ensuring high food quality standards
• Managing portion control and food preparation
• Overseeing kitchen operations including fryer, grilling, and baking
• Maintaining food handling and sanitation practices
• Managing catering orders and food and beverage management
• Ensuring ServSafe Certified standards are met
• Handling food safety protocols and cooking techniques
• Merchandising and stocking inventory
• Closing duties and math skills for ordering supplies
