We are urgently seeking a multi-craft technician capable of performing multiple maintenance trades including electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, plumbing, stainless-steel fabrication, Robotics, and other mechanical crafts. In this role, you will perform emergency repairs to optimize production quickly and efficiently, while also managing periodic maintenance and project work.

Essential Duties:
1. Preventative Maintenance: Perform regular checks on machinery, such as belts, chains, electrical cabinets, and greasing.
2. Troubleshooting: Address mechanical, 480v & 120v electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and other issues promptly.
3. Record Keeping: Maintain thorough records of all performed preventative maintenance.
4. Machinery and Equipment: Dismantle and reassemble machinery and equipment for necessary repairs.
5. Parts Research: Identify and request necessary parts for repairs efficiently.
6. Additional Duties: Perform additional tasks as assigned by the maintenance supervisor or manager.
7. Professional Interaction: Maintain a professional demeanor while interacting with other departments.
Skills and Abilities:
1. Basic Computer Skills: Familiarity with Windows and CMMS systems.
2. Mechanical Abilities: Strong aptitude in mechanical tasks.
3. Electrical Skills: Preferred experience up to PLC troubleshooting and repair.
4. Fabrication: Ability to perform stainless-steel fabrication and welding (preferred).
5. Industrial Systems: Experience with industrial refrigeration and mechanical systems (preferred).
6. Troubleshooting: Capacity to diagnose mechanical problems for production and other plant equipment.
7. Technical Literacy: Ability to read and understand technical documents, work orders, and labels.
8. Communication: Effective communication skills across all levels of employees.
9. Knowledge Compliance: Understanding of and ability to adhere to guidelines including USDA, OSHA, HAACP, GMPs, quality specifications, employee handbook, and company policies.
Job Specifications
- Ability to read mechanical parts diagrams and complete mechanical rebuilds as needed.
- Proficiency in electrical troubleshooting and reading electrical blueprints/schematics is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated effective communication skills.
Working Climate
- Active role requiring long periods of standing, walking, bending, or stooping.
- Position involves lifting, pushing, and pulling up to 50 pounds.
- Strong eye-hand coordination required.
- Job may involve working in a cold, wet environment.
