Who we are
Unlimited Events & Marketing, Inc. (UEM) is a full-service marketing company dedicated to delivering exceptional customer experiences and engagements in both virtual and in-person settings at various indoor and outdoor events, retail locations, and schools across the United States.
What we are looking for
UEM is currently seeking to hire a dental professional (RDH, RDHAP, DDS) to provide support to one of the teams we oversee in Chicago, IL. This team is responsible for offering free oral health education and non-invasive dental screenings to children and families.
Colgate’s Bright Smiles, Bright Futures program is a free oral health education initiative aimed at empowering children and families to achieve healthy and bright futures.
We firmly believe that every child and their family deserves a lifetime of healthy smiles. This is why we are committed to advocating for a brighter future for 2 billion children and their families, as we strive to enhance the health and well-being of our communities. In this role, you will utilize your experience as a Dental Professional to educate children aged 12 and under, as well as parents and caregivers, on a mobile dental van at schools and events.
These engagements may take place in person or virtually. It is important to note that this position does not involve providing dental treatment. However, when feasible, you will conduct non-probing oral screenings, complete a report card for the child, and if necessary, offer a referral to a Colgate Bright Smile, Bright Future approved dental office for treatment and follow-up. This is not a traditional nine-to-five job; each day presents unique tasks. Daily activities encompass a blend of home office planning, coordination of visit dates/meetings, development of Dental Professional volunteers, and meetings with Corporate and your team. Field activities involve assisting in setting up visits and educating children and families. This is a salaried position that requires a commitment of 40 hours per week.
This position necessitates residency in the Chicago Land area to facilitate work on our mobile dental unit. Additionally, you must have a quiet home location to conduct daily activities, including video meetings, planning, coordinating virtual and face-to-face oral health presentations to schools, community organizations, and events. Proficiency in computer work, MS Office suite, report creation, data entry, and attendance at workshops and conventions to promote the program and recruit volunteers and community or dental organizations to expand program reach are essential. This role is best suited for individuals with a passion for public health and community building through the dissemination of top-tier information to underserved communities. If you are a self-starter who thrives in a small team within a dynamic and ever-evolving work environment, we welcome you to join our growing team.
The program's mission is to empower children and their families through oral health education, dental screening, and referrals.
